Brandi & Nate Whitaker moved their family to Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island in 2022. They have visited the island for almost 15 years and were thrilled to have the chance to shift from city life to a smaller community.

 

Brandi has worked in advertising and operations for 25 years but if you know her, you know she loves entertaining and hosting. Sue's Market, name coined from Brandi's middle name and after her grandmother, was born after Brandi was searching for a place to pick up a prepared meal for someone recovering from surgery.

Having lived in Atlanta for over 25 years, Brandi was a regular at local markets and festivals, always stopping to explore the food and gift options. Nate jokes that she’ll stop at any market she sees on the road! Inspired by this love of food and entertaining Sue’s Market was created to bring the same convenience, quality, and personal touch to Amelia Island.
